Bailout Plate Instructions/User Manual
The Bailout Plate is a device that allows multiple pieces of emergency equipment to be totally removed within seconds. The Bailout Plate can be used to attach items such as, but not limited to, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, multi tools, radios, and emergency signalers. By removing the securing pin, the Bailout Plate and its attached load can break away from its mounting surface in seconds with minimum effort. A Bailout Plate loaded with equipment is strong enough to be tossed out of a compromised vehicle for quick evacuation. This rapid departure is necessary to decrease the exit time of the occupants and their essential equipment in an emergency. The Bailout Plate can be used in first responder and military applications where bundles of medical gear, communication equipment, or fire suppression systems may need to be removed from their regular mounted location in seconds. This simple device provides an extra element of emergency readiness for any vehicle, aircraft, or boat.

How Its Mounted
The Bailout Plate product includes extra 550 cords to mount the Plate to the back of a standard car seat with adjustable head rest, as pictured here. The orange lines represent the extra mounting cords and how they are placed in combination with the seat and Bailout Plate. One section of the cord will be placed in a loop around the headrest and top two anchors of the Plate, the other section of cord will be looped around the hinge rod of the car seat and bottom two anchor loops of the Bailout Plate.
The reason the Bailout Plate is mounted to the hinge rod, is to allow the seat to recline and slide forward/backwards without pulling or being caught on the Plate’s cords.
Mounted Large Bailout Plate (Loaded)
The Bailout Plate is designed to store essential components that may be needed in a moment's notice. If the worst-case scenario arises, you might need to bail out of your vehicle, boat, or plane, and the Bailout Plate has you covered. The entire plate detaches from its harness and can be removed from its mount as one piece by simply pulling the securing pin. All your essentials can Bailout with you.
Specs
The Plate is 3D printed out of recycled PETG and coated with a rigid bed liner for extra strength.
The Plate has 4 mounting points, one on each corner, which can be tied or bolted to your transport to secure your essentials.
The grid system is compatible with most MOLLE pouches and attachments.

As pictured here, the anchor cords must remain on top of the Bailout Plate’s load so that the cords do not get tangled with the equipment. Depending on the type and amount of equipment loaded onto the Plate, the anchor cords may shorten slightly, this is not an issue.
